21 ELITE ONBOARDING
Welcome to the 21 Elite family! This page contains the critical first steps for all new athletes, plus a special section for those who have been invited to one of our travel teams. Please start off with joining our 21 Elite Community Hub. After joining the 21 Elite Community Hub, complete all the steps in Part 1 (Steps 1-5). Complete Part 2 (Steps 1-4) if you get an offer from one of the team programs.
Join the 21 Elite Community Hub
Welcome to the 21 Elite Family!
This is the official "front door" for our entire organization. Before you can register for a specific team tryout, clinic, or academy, we ask that all new and returning families first join our free "Community Hub" on LeagueApps.
Why is this mandatory? This is our new central communication system and "master list." By joining the Hub (it's free!), you are:
Getting on the "Master List": This is how you'll receive all important updates, program announcements, calendar invites, and registration alerts for ALL our programs (teams, clinics, academy, and ministry events).
Signing Your Master Waiver: This completes our one-time "Master Waiver" for all 21 Elite activities.
It only takes about 60 seconds, and you only have to do it once. After you join the Hub, you can proceed to Step 2 below to register for your specific program.

Part 1: For ALL 21 Elite Athletes
Step 1: Complete the Athlete Registration Form (Required)
If you have not done so already, this is the most important first step. Before any training can begin, please complete our Athlete Registration Form. This form includes our mandatory waiver and provides us with all the necessary contact and athlete information. (Must be renewed annually starting in September).
Please Note:
Checking the "Team Program Interest" box on this form **does not** place you on a team. The Team Program is invite-only; you must attend a tryout and receive an official offer email to join.
FINANCIAL AID
Step 2: Apply for Financial Aid (Recommended)
We are a mission-first organization committed to making our programs accessible. We encourage **everyone** to apply. Aid starts at **25% off** and goes up to **75% off** for those who qualify. We especially encourage families who currently receive social welfare to apply. (Must be renewed annually starting in September).
TRAINING SHIRT
Step 3: Required Training Shirt (Athlete Progression)
This is part of our **Athlete Progression (AP) System**. All new athletes start with a **Gray Shirt**. This allows our coaches to track development and award new shirt colors as athletes master new skills. This shirt is for general skills training.
BOOKING SESSIONS
Step 4: Book General Training Sessions
For all non-team skills training, you can book here. Use code **FIRST21** at checkout for 50% off your first session.
STAY CONNECTED
Step 5: We highly recommend you create two separate accounts to get the most out of our program:
Scheduling Account (Acuity): When you book your first session, you will see an option to "Sign Up." This is essential for managing your appointments, rescheduling, and viewing your package history.
Website Account (Squarespace): On our main site (www.the21elite.com), click "Login" to create an account. This ensures you receive our newsletters and important program updates.
For TEAM PROGRAM Athletes (Invite-Only)
ATTENTION: INVITE-ONLY
This section is **ONLY** for athletes who have attended tryouts and received an official "Offer Email and/or Text Message" to join one of our travel teams. If you have not received an offer, these steps do not apply to you.
EXCLUSIVE TEAM GEAR (REQUIRED)
Step 1: Order Required Team Gear (NOVUS)
This is the official, exclusive team store for our travel team uniforms and required gear. This is separate from the "Training Shirt" in Part 1. You must order your uniform package from this NOVUS store to be eligible to play in tournaments.
AAU MEMBERSHIP
Step 2: AAU Membership (Required: All Teams)
All travel team athletes must have a valid AAU Membership. We will be registering 21 Elite as an official AAU Club, and all athletes must be rostered under our club code.
Please be on the lookout. We will send our AAU Club Code and registration link via email within the next week. This is a mandatory requirement before your first practice.
WEVA MEMBERSHIP
Step 3: USA Volleyball / WEVA Membership (Volleyball Only)
In addition to the AAU membership, all volleyball athletes must have a valid WEVA membership to be eligible for their tournaments.
If your athlete accepts a spot on a 21 Elite team, you will be prompted to purchase the full-season membership.
Cost: The full-season membership is $69. This is a separate, required purchase made directly to WEVA/USAV after you accept your team offer.
**MANDATORY 18U ATHLETE RULE** All 18U athletes (or 17s turning 18) must also complete the SafeSport Core Training before being added to the roster. This is a free, mandatory federal requirement. The membership cost remains the same ($69).
USA BASKETBALL MEMBERSHIP
Step 4: USA Basketball Membership (Basketball Only)
In addition to the AAU membership, all basketball athletes must have a valid USA Basketball membership. Please follow the instructions at the link below to get your membership and complete the roster verification process.
Welcome to the Team!
Congratulations! We are thrilled to officially invite you to accept your roster spot and join a 21 Elite team for the upcoming season. You’ve shown you have what it takes to be "More Than The Game," and we're excited to get to work.
This is your final step to "onboard" and officially claim your spot.
Your Next Steps (CRITICAL):
Confirm Hub Registration: By this point, you should have already completed Step 1 and joined our free "Community Hub" on LeagueApps. If you have not, please go back or click the link below and do that first.
Access Your Team Program: Your team's registration (where you pay dues, see schedules, and get communications) is a private, invite-only program on LeagueApps.
Find Your Team Page: To access this private program, please login to the website then navigate to your specific team's webpage on our website (e.g., "16U Volleyball" or "14U Basketball"). Your coach will also send you the direct link.
Accept & Register: On your team's page, you will find the private button to "Accept Your Roster Spot & Register." This will take you to LeagueApps to complete the final registration and set up your payment plan.
